Accepting applications to develop an applicant pool of qualified candidates for a part-time, temporary, Figure Drawing Model (Artist's Model) position in the Fine Arts department. This is a temporary part-time hourly position, not to exceed 28 hours per week. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Pose for fine art classes, to include a full range of poses and gestures. - Communicate effectively with faculty and students while working in classrooms. General Duties: - Pose for fine arts studio classes: figure drawing and, occasionally, painting and other drawing courses for sculpture. - Be able to provide a full range of traditional life drawing poses, from gestures to sustained poses, as required by tradition and the instructor. Minimum Qualifications: - Previous experience as an artist's model or dance or theater experience. - Knowledge of how the model demonstrates anatomy, gesture, or content in a drawing. - Aware of classic and traditional poses in the art tradition. - Acceptance of the responsibility to promote the welfare and best interests of students at all times. - Demonstrates understanding and acceptance of the mission, values, goals and objectives of the college. - Ability to perform a...
