Position Summary: This position involves assisting in planning and running camp programming along with childcare duties. Qualifications: Education/Experience: - Prepare information and activities for camp programming as assigned. - Light housekeeping duties as assigned. - Take care of assigned children when needed. - Participate in camp staff orientation as assigned. - Participate in all staff meetings. - Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the position. - Assist in creating a Christian atmosphere and support the infusion of Christian Outreach through the programming. - Other similar and related duties may be assigned. - High school diploma or GED equivalency (preferred). - Must be at least 17 years old. - Six months of experience working with youth and active participation in a Christian faith community in support of The Salvation Army’s mission preferred. - On the job training provided.
