Dietary Worker/Pot Washer - Part Time (Stony Brook Southampton Hospital) POSITION SUMMARY: Knowledge of patient diets and various tray line positions to ensure accurate meals to patients. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Duties include servicing patient food, maintaining cleanliness and organization of patient workstation. - Operation of dish machine or pot washing station. - Break down & clean up after meals. - Maintain safe and sanitary conditions of tables, carts & equipment and service ware. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: - Ability to understand, follow, and document verbal and written work instructions in English. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: As part of employment at Southampton Hospital, there may be occasions when travel to other locations is needed to support operational needs.
