Shipping Team Lead

Job description

The Shipping Team Lead is responsible for frontline leadership in day-to-day operations to include safety, quality, efficiency, and meeting customer expectations. Provides directions to production floor employees in the areas of production, training, and other related areas, striving to improve overall operational efficiencies. Responsibilities: Requirements: - Ensure that truck drivers depart with appropriate paperwork. - Direct and coordinate the activities of the shipping team to assist in preparing orders. - Stage finished orders for shipping and load trucks. - Lead shipping teams to accomplish tasks safely, on time, complete, and correct assignments. - Perform other duties as assigned by management. - Adheres to company policies and procedures.
