Job Overview: The Quality Assurance / Quality Control Manager is charged with overall responsibility for quality assurance, quality control, welding inspections and other inspections and documentation on the site, turnaround projects. Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities: - Provide an interface between contractor supervision and client inspection personnel. - Responsibilities include assisting client inspection/engineering personnel in the preparation of plans, drawings, welding procedures, inspection requirements, and acceptance criteria. - Manage contractor QA/QC personnel and sub-contract inspection personnel and monitoring the work quality and quantity of outside contractors. - Responsible for ensuring that the verification and documentation of all work is completed to applicable codes, standards and client specifications and for the planning and control of welding materials, welding procedures and welding operations. - Work with all personnel engaged in these projects including executives, project management, HSE peers, operational personnel, unionized craft personnel, clients and regulators. - Work and influence client and organizational leadership to set priorities, solidif...
