Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. is hiring an Outside Sales Associate in Baltimore, Maryland. The Outside Sales Associate is responsible for generating new business, maintaining relationships with existing clients, creating relationships with new customers, and promoting a wide range of rental equipment and solutions to the construction and industrial sectors. Seeking candidates with a minimum one year of experience working in a sales or sales support role; Previous experience in a sales environment, preferred; College degree in a related field, preferred. Requirements for the Outside Sales Associate position include: Physical requirements must be met for the Outside Sales Associate job, including regularly being required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
