Job description

TITLE: Converting Operator C POSITION OBJECTIVE: Machine Operators are critical members of our team. They set up, operate, and tend machines that extrude and coat flat films from synthetic materials. In this position you will set up and operate production equipment including blown film extruders, silicone coaters, and slitter/rewinders. You will work both independently and with a team to meet and exceed customers’ specifications and timeframes. QUALIFICATIONS: - Operation Monitoring - The ability to watch gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly. - Operations -The ability to control operations of equipment or systems. - Controls - The ability to adjust the controls of a machine or a vehicle to precise positions. - Detect Problems - The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem. - Problem Solving - Identifying problems and reviewing related information to troubleshoot or to alert supervisor. - Coordination - The ability of fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects. - Be familiar with rulers, scales, gauges,...
