Maintenance Technician

Job description

Job Description Preventive maintenance on equipment, such as check lubrication levels fill and grease, clean and pump press pans. Run recycle equipment, clean and paint equipment. Assist some job set-ups where certain adjustments may be required which would be outside the scope of set-up associates. Provide assistance to Production Supervisor to train associates regarding new or modified equipment. Perform other duties related to maintenance as required by supervisor. Job Requirements: Strong ability to use independent judgment in determining work processes and actual job performed. Basic level of demonstrated competence in electricity/electronics, hydraulic/pneumatics, individual components, system and control configurations, associated schematics and documentation. Basic mechanical knowledge, welding, plumbing, and machining. Design and layout electrical distribution systems for the installation of equipment. Design and layout plumbing systems (air, water, etc.) for the installation of equipment. Perform troubleshooting for all equipment. Perform repairs (to factory technology level) of air compressors.
