Position Summary: Hospital Physician 1500 insurance claim follow up including filing appeals, submitting supporting documentation, identifying credentialing issues with payer, requesting place of service/coding review, requesting reconsideration via phone or online to ensure accurate claim payment is received. Timely and accurate resolution of assigned claims in accordance to department policies and procedures. Understanding of EOB, denial codes, CPTs and 1500 claim form is preferred.
