We are searching for a Registered Nurse (RN) to work in our Diagnostic Imaging Unit –someone who works well in a fast-paced hospital setting and provide nursing care to patients by assessing, planning, educating, implementing, and evaluating age-appropriate care in a manner that incorporates family-centered principles and cost-effective care. Texas Children’s Radiology Department has earned the gold standard in accreditation from the ACR for our medical imaging expertise. These gold seals of accreditation signify our achievement as a Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence (DICOE) – the highest achievement for medical imaging facilities. Think you have what it takes - ok with part-time (weekdays with rotating weekends: 7a-5p) - knowledge of critical thinking skills, and interdisciplinary collaboration Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in nursing or bachelor’s degree in nursing enrolled - Current licensure with the Board of Nursing for the State of Texas or Nurse Licensure Compact and BLS certification - 9 months year of professional nursing experience Expectations: - preparing patients for imaging procedures like X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs, monitoring their vital signs during the...
