Part-time Dining Services Associate

Job description

POSITION PURPOSE: Under the general supervision of the Dining Services Manager, the part-time Dining Services Associate will perform various tasks including the preparation and cooking of food, serving and cleaning/sanitation which supports the operations of a large-scale food service operation. GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Wash, scrape and deliver dishes - Clean and sanitize tables and other surfaces - Serve food - Prepare hot and cold food including cooking and cutting - Restock food - May perform cashiering and cash handling duties - Respond to customer inquiries or problems in a courteous manner - Assist with special event meals - Demonstrate civil and respectful interactions with others - Dress in proper work attire per department guidelines - Provide EXCEPTIONAL customer service - Must be dependable and reliable - Perform other duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: - Excellent customer service; interpersonal and good communication skills required - Ability to lift up to fifty pounds (50 lbs.) - Demonstrate commitment to EXCEPTIONAL customer service - Must be a motivated self-starter and able to complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision...
