Company Description The Anthro joint venture between Egis and VVB Engineering will provide comprehensive turn-key services for London’s state-of-the-art HS2 gateway station at Old Oak Common. We have been awarded a multi-year contract to deliver MEPHFC (Mechanical, Electrical Public Health, Fire and Communications) systems works. The role is based on site in Acton (West London) and you will be required to attend site 3 days a week. Job Description: As a Senior Buyer you will be responsible for ensuring that procurement activities are undertaken for your allocated area of responsibility, in a timely and cost-effective way and that contracts are only awarded to approved suppliers in-line with the organisations policies and procedures. In doing so you will ensure the project has a fit for purpose supply chain, which supplies fit for purpose materials, in-line with project budgets and forecast, on-time and in full, to prevent delays to project delivery. This is an integral role within the company to ensure profitability of projects is maintained.
