Day (United States of America) Community Relations Coordinator - Hospice The Community Relations Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of Halifax Health – Hospice community engagement, representation, education and informative activities/events within their designated service area. This will include community coordination within residential communities, clubs, health fairs, speaker bureaus, local chambers, professional organization members, nonprofit organizations, local government officials and local corporations. Highly motivated, self-starter who works effectively with minimum supervision. Must be well organized and efficient; must have a good command of grammar, spelling and punctuation; must have an ability to organize work quickly and efficiently and be comfortable working against deadlines; must exhibit professional, friendly attitude both on the telephone and in person. A minimum of three years’ experience in community relations and/or marketing. Must be well organized and able to multi-task priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
