- Work in a collaborative, supportive research environment contributing to globally significant marine science. - Gain exposure to diverse activities across administration, fieldwork and research support within a world-class university setting. - Part-time (0.6 FTE) appointment on a fixed term basis for 12 months. - Base salary range:$77,205 – $82,011 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation. About the area: The School of Biological Sciences is a large, multidisciplinary School with over 80 high-calibre staff delivering world-class education and research programs to approximately 600 undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students and is responsible for the supervision of ~100 PhD students. The School is research-intensive with expertise in the disciplines of Computational Biology, Ecology & Conservation, Evolutionary Biology, Neuroscience and Science Communication. Across these disciplines, Marine Biology is an important area within the School. The Wernberg & Filbee-Dexter Labs is a busy research group of 9 researchers and 16 HDR students specialising in many aspects of temperate reef ecology in Australia and internationally.
