Bridge Specialty Group is seeking a Personal Lines Underwriter to join our growing team! This Personal Lines Underwriter is responsible for quoting, binding and servicing complex property submissions with a non admitted carrier. Product Specialists also assist customers in determining risk placement amongst a wide variety of admitted and non admitted products offered by our agency. How You Will Contribute: - Use critical thinking, understanding of the market and underwriting best practices to determine individual risk acceptability, pricing, best coverage, terms and conditions within established authority and carrier guidelines. - Provide clear communication and documentation of rationale for decisions and options. - Review inspection reports to confirm eligibility and accuracy of risk presentation; communicate required action and present solutions as needed to maintain profitability and retention. - Collect proper documentation and forms to maintain customer files accurately and consistently in accordance with department workflows and procedur...
