Department: Technical Reports to: Group Technical Director: Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30 with planned out of hour and on-call Role Overview: The Linux & Applications Specialist will support, maintain, automate, and improve critical ISP, hosting, and service provider platforms across a fast-paced telecommunications and internet service provider environment. The role focuses on Linux systems administration, ISP platform support, hosting infrastructure, automation, monitoring, and platform reliability across cloud and on-premise environments. The successful candidate will support core operational systems that underpin broadband, voice, hosting, monitoring, authentication, and customer service delivery platforms. Working closely with Network Engineering, Infrastructure, Cyber Security, and Service Operations teams, the role will help ensure secure, stable, and scalable service delivery across the business.
