MEP Project Engineer I

Job description

SUMMARY: Mortenson is currently seeking a MEP Project Engineer I that will be responsible for providing analysis, management, and resolution for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) field coordination issues with project team members and participants. RESPONSIBILITIES: Interpret project plans, specifications, and details for subcontractors and craft persons; implement the pre-construction quality plan and obtain/maintain necessary construction permits Develop and maintain Material Tracking List, Project Test and Inspection Listing, Non-Conformance Report, and equipment coordination matrices; manage contract documents and lead the 3-D coordination process Establish handling procedures for electronic documents, including RFIs and correspondence; incorporate processes and procedures that support the project closeout phase Manage all aspects of testing and inspection processes for the construction quality management program, including implementing the three-phase inspection system and assisting the commissioning process Manage submittals, set up register, prepare transmittal forms, coordinate submittal processing, and expedite submittals to ensure material deliveries align with t...
