Organization: SAFH-Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital Position Overview: Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, provides accurate interpretation of cardiac rhythms of an assigned patient population through continuous cardiac monitoring surveillance. This position generates, reads, and interprets monitor strip print-outs based on individual patient need/patient rhythm changes, promptly communicates changes in cardiac rhythms or dysrhythmias to the appropriate member of the health care team per unit protocol. Job Description: EDUCATION Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. - HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE: - BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - EKG-Technician PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN: - Prior experience working in an acute care facility as a monitor tech, or Unit Secretary / Nurse Aide preferred.
