Materials Handler - 3rd Shift

Job description

Position Purpose: - Assist in the timely processing of all outbound material issues, incoming material receipts, and supply of necessary production parts to assigned areas of the plant. Essential Functions: - Transport production parts to assigned line using tow motor/lift truck. - Operates reach or fork truck to pick supplies throughout the facility. - Loads semi-truck and trailer with inventory via PIT. - Operates auto wrapper to wrap pallets for transport. - Picks parts from bins to resupply assembly lines. - Writes information on tracking forms and inputs data in RF scanner. - Conduct all location transactions for parts delivered to warehouse and /or production lines. - Assist in resolving data accuracy problems associated with any warehouse transactions. - Assist in coordinating all quality discrepancies with purchasing and production scheduling personnel. - Break down cardboard at each department location and feed to bailer. - Performs 5S housekeeping duties around the work area.
