Within the context of a patient/client and family-centred framework and continuum-based care model and in accordance with established standards of professional practice and the vision, values and policies of the organization, works within a designated program’s self-directed work team, provides a broad spectrum of dietetic services to clients of the Solid Organ Transplant or Bone Marrow Transplant Programs. Applies extensive knowledge, skill and clinical experience to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nutrition goals and care plans for clients throughout all stages of the transplant process. In addition, utilizes advanced clinical techniques such as knowledge of transplant treatment modalities and principles of nutrition support.
