Hourly Pay Range: $20.69 - $30.00 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: Emergency Services Technician - Emergency Room Location: Swedish Hospital - Chicago, IL Full time, 36 hours/week: Hours: 7:00pm - 7:30am; Rotating weekends What you will need: High School graduate ED Tech experience or EMT experience preferred Completed the first clinical semester of nursing school or a MA/CNA program preferred. Certification in adult, child, and infant CPR techniques General Summary: Responsible for assisting in the provision of nursing care to patients as delegated by a Registered Nurse. Responsible for performing tasks to support unit functions. Gives direct care as delegated by a Registered Nurse: Transports patients to and from the Emergency Department. Assists patients in transferring between bed, cart, or wheelchair. Cleans emergency rooms, including furniture, major equipment, and carts in accordance with Emergency Department infection control guidelines after procedures and patient discharge.
