As a Quality Control Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our manufacturing processes in the calibration department. Your expertise in calibrations and gauge documentation will be instrumental in upholding the integrity of our products. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with our production teams, providing valuable insights and ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. You will also organize outsourced calibrations and in-house visits for specialty production machines, while maintaining calibration schedules and participating in external audits annually. Job responsibilities: Identify and utilize appropriate measurement techniques. Issue purchase requisition for outside sourced calibrations. Keep the calibration lab clean and orderly. - Calibration of Gages by due date. - Get quotes for outside sourced calibration. - Maintain calibration standards. - Fulfil duties safely under working conditions, in keeping with company requirements and standards. - Monitor PR’s to make sure they get approved. - Have PO’s received when gages arrive back after calibration. - Schedule pick up for Trescal gages needing picked...
