Up to $15,000.00 Sign on Bonus! Position Summary: As a member of the skilled nursing team, the Licensed Practical Nurse, under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse, is responsible for giving resident care using the nursing process and ensuring residents receive care outlined in the nursing care plan. Services to be provided for residents over 16 years of age regardless of age, race, religion, and cultural background. Majority of services provided for the elderly. Education, License & Cert: State of Pennsylvania LPN License. Experience: Preferable but not required. Maintains CPR certification. Ability to read, write, and understand written and oral communication. Follows universal precautions and utilizes proper body mechanics. Keeps up to date in the field of nursing, especially geriatrics. Act 34 clearance (criminal background check). Essential Functions: 1. Compliance with rules and regulations of all federal, state, and local governments is a requirement of employment. 2.
