Quality Inspector

Job description

TOGETHER, WE SAVE LIVES: OVERVIEW: Inspect all corporate incoming materials which includes raw materials and buy to stock products. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Collect data that reflect QMS performance (i.e., production first pass yield, supplier performance, etc.) - Perform product sampling and document - Initiate NCR - Follow-up to all quality material and product issues related to the product line - Assist in training of associates as required - Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: - Three (1) to four (3) years working in a quality control position - Experience in working with applicable materials - High School Diploma or GED equivalent - Experience working with blueprints and drawings - Experience with and knowledge of measurement tools (ruler, gages, protractors) - Understanding of metric and imperial measurement systems - Bi-lingual in Spanish/English preferred Why work at Safariland?: At Safariland our colleagues are some of the best and brightest in the industry and we are seeking new team members who exhibit the diverse competencies that will drive The Safariland Group to even greater success while maintaining our culture of being a great place to work.
