User Experience Researcher The Philadelphia Inquirer is looking for a thoughtful, imaginative and highly collaborative mixed methods UX Researcher to join our award-winning product team. This researcher will be a cross-functional collaborator, working with designers, engineers, product managers, marketers, editors and journalists to improve our customers' experiences across multiple product segments: on-site, via our app, and through our print product. What You’ll Do: - Conduct user research independently: usability and prototype testing, card sorting, moderated interviews and focus groups - Write and analyze survey data (including survey logic) and explain results for team members & stakeholders - Help to create a research-driven product through translating data to tell a story - Uniquely identifying the questions we never thought to ask, influencing our product direction - Work with the Director of User Research to prioritize requests, ensuring testing is valuable and cost-effective - Support cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and the newsroom with a client-first approach - Contribute to an inclusive and positive work environment Who We’re Looking For: Someone w...
