Job description

Our development team are looking for an experienced Clerk of Works to join the team covering the North of England on a full-time, permanent basis. About the role: You will regularly visit Guinness construction sites, undertaking inspections to ensure development projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality and are fully compliant with current legislation and regulatory requirements. You will maintain a strong focus on building and site safety, while ensuring projects are delivered cost‑effectively and within agreed timescales reporting any deviations to the Project Manager. This role involves extensive travel to construction sites of varying sizes and complexities across the North, including locations such as Lancaster, Harrogate, Sheffield, and Manchester, so overnight stays will be required on a regular basis. To ensure timely travel to multiple sites, the successful candidate must ideally live within ten miles of North Manchester.
