Description JOB SUMMARY AND SCOPE: The Security Department follows Standard Operating Guidelines to accomplish the safety and security of all patients, visitors and employees at Down East Community & Calais Community Hospital. Security remains vigilant in identifying security and safety issues that arise, logging any issues in an incident report to be reviewed by the Security Supervisor. Security follows specific rounds, checking for unlocked doors and anything out of the ordinary. Security assists all departments with patient monitoring, lift assists, patient restraints and any other duty that the department feels is in direct association with the security and safety of Down East Community Hospital or Calais Community Hospital.
