Description Freed-Hardeman University is accepting applications for a future Adjunct Instructor position. Applications are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed by the Department Chair and/or Dean when openings become available. Adjunct positions are on a semester-by-semester basis. Responsibilities of the Adjunct Instructor will include but not be limited to: - Teach the required/assigned course. - Evidence of knowledge and skills related to the teaching of adults. - Help develop, implement, evaluate and update the purpose, philosophy, objective and organizational framework of Freed-Hardeman University. - Assist in the design, implementation, and evaluation of the assigned curriculum. - Provide academic guidance to students in collaboration with the chair/dean of the program. - Plan and provide theoretical instruction and clinical experiences that reflect an understanding of the philosophy, objectives and curriculum. - Evaluate student achievement of curricular objectives/outcomes related to the course, the discipline’s knowledge and practice. - Schedule time for classroom preparation. - Perform other similar duties as assigned.
