District Engineer - Lubbock - ( 2601028 ) Position Information The Lubbock District plans, designs, builds, operates and maintains the state transportation system in 17 Texas counties, including more than 12,000 lane miles of roadway. The Lubbock District experiences varying weather conditions from extreme heat to sub-freezing temperatures, which result in challenges for maintenance crews and designers to maintain assets and assure the safety of the traveling public.
