Position Summary The Monitor Technician (MT) is responsible for assisting in care of patients under the direction of an RN or LPN. The monitor technician performs duties including observing and monitoring heart rhythms and rates, informing the nursing staff of any change in patients' status. Education: Must possess high school diploma or GED equivalent. Licenses/Certificate: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Complete the basic arrhythmia course.
