About the unit As a level 3 facility the Emergency Center is equipped to manage chest pain, minor and major trauma, hemorrhage, acute medical illness, drug overdose/ substance abuse, psychiatric, neurological. The Beaumont Grosse Pointe serves over 52,000 patients annually. The EC provides comprehensive emergency treatment/ care to all patients of all ages.
