Job Description Title: General Technician - Press: Reports to: Production Manager: Summary: Performs process, and support to the Gravure Press Operation in three specific areas as required but not limited to Press Room, Roll Stand Tasks and/or Material Handling. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE STANDARDS OVERVIEW: Receive product from Press, stack and place on pallets. Printing pallet labels with Pecas. Be able to find all information needed on job docket and set up sheet. Ensure correct loading of product onto pallets for Material handling. Robot set-up & troubleshooting if applicable. Ensure quality of jobs completed by reviewing for quality and accuracy; Makes sure jobs are complete and error free. Informs Operators of any problems. Ensures finished product appears to be of highest quality, accurately printed and completed and free of errors. Pull Product samples according to company procedures and send to Quality Auditors as required. Notifies Operator immediately of any problems and/or errors. Downtime duties: Webbing the press.
