Athletics Summer Worker - Golf

Job description

Works with various departments within Athletics to support each department. The position is largely administrative but occasionally requires supporting Athletics-sponsored events. Workers are required to work from Athletics offices/facilities and will interact extensively with Athletics staff, and students. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Basic office duties to include answering phone, greeting guests, special projects, and running errands. 2. Willing to work with various departments within Athletics and on various projects throughout the summer. 3. Will need to work events outdoors and may be asked help around outdoor facilities QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS: Education and Experience: High School diploma: ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES ESSENTIAL TO THE FUNCTION OF THE JOB: Communication and Comprehension: Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to convey clear, well articulated information. Ability to understand, speak, and write English in order to convey messages and correspond in an articulate and professional manner.
