Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the laboratories perform more than 19 million tests a year. In addition to IU Health, laboratory testing services are provided to hospitals and physicians across the country. SHIFT: Full-Time Days: HOURS: M-F 8-4:30: The Laboratory Assistant I - Histology Prep, at Bloomington LAB, receives and accepts pathology specimens, Checks ID, tracking forms, requisitions and specimen containers, accession and properly label specimen containers. Requires HS grad or GED Equivalent. Interest in science preferred. Ability to pay strong attention to detail required.
