Description Summary: This is an entry-level position, with responsibility for performing clerical tasks, research, and writing. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Researches, compiles and analyzes data related to planning issues and specific applications. Writes issue papers and technical reports Assists planners with research and other technical information Fills in at Front Desk and answers telephones as needed. Helps coordinate public notification and outreach activities. Prepares minutes of planning meetings. Provide information to the general public regarding zoning, comprehensive planning, inspections, and other related matters. Requirements: Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid KY Driver's License
