Description Le Meridien and Sheraton Charlotte is seeking a Director of Security to oversee the day-to day operations of the Safety and Security Team, including schedules, payroll and budget. Provide overall leadership and direction for all of the Safety and Security. · Oversee the training of the Safety & Security Team to ensure proper procedures and policy. · Acts as liaison with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies. · Enforces all operational procedures. · Confers with representative of ownership to formulate policies and determine need for programs. · Ensures cooperation and coordination of plant activities with law enforcement and firefighting agencies. · Provides effective management of people and processes in accordance with company Management Performance Standards. · Provides quality guest service in accordance with company Quality Service Performance Standards. · Performs other duties as assigned. · Confer with management, interview guests, associates, and others to detect infringements, disturbances, complaints, theft, vandalism, etc. · Patrol public areas to detect fires, unsafe conditions, and damaged or inoperative safety equipment and warn or eject troubl...
