Position Summary: The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry within the Charles E. Schmidt College of Science at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor with expertise in Environmental Chemistry. Research/Scholarship Responsibilities – The candidate will conduct research on nano-enabled environmental and agricultural systems, with a strong focus on the design and application of engineered nanoparticles for contaminant detection, remediation, and risk mitigation. Their research is expected to synergize with and complement the research of other faculty in the Department, and the FAU School of Environmental, Coastal, and Ocean Sustainability (ECOS).
