Specialist Practitioner AMHP Permanent: Grade D - £45,091 – £53,460 Golden Hello payment - £1,000 + £5,000 per annum; see below for further details and conditions. Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review Working 36.5 hours per week: Join Birmingham’s AMHP Hub as a senior AMHP. Deliver statutory Mental Health Act duties citywide, mentor future practitioners, and work with partners to make timely, rights‑focused decisions for people in crisis. We are seeking Specialist Approved Mental Health Professionals (AMHPs) to join our dynamic citywide team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a service that delivers statutory duties nationally, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance under the Mental Health Act 1983 . You will work within the daytime service from 08:45–17:15, Monday to Thursday , and 08:45–16:15 on Fridays , with occasional flexibility required to meet patient need.
