Description $16.50 per hour, a Free YMCA Membership Shift Ranges: Monday-Friday 8:30a-1:30p, 4:00p-8:00p, Saturday-Sunday 8:30p-12:30p POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the supervisor, the Child Watch/Adventure Center staff will follow the sign in/out procedures and maintain a clean, safe and fun environment for member’s children and actively engage with members in the child watch and adventure center. The position is responsible for demonstrating YMCA leadership competencies to ensure the mission, purpose, image and core values of the YMCA of Greater Rochester is conveyed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Greet each family, introduce self, and provide positive engagement for all that enter the child watch and adventure depot center. - Follow all procedures of the room(s) including but not limited to, cleaning and sign-in procedures. - Actively engage and supervise children in the child watch and adventure depot center. - Maintain a safe and attractive environment for all children. - Keep accurate, detailed records of incident reports and other necessary documentation as required. - Familiar with and carries out emergency procedures, building rules and regulations - Maintain a well-pr...
