Job description

Shift and status Part-time schedule with start times between 6:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. and end times between 3:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., rotating days, including every other weekend. Job Summary: Transports all patient populations to and from examinations and treatments. Performs general errands and other routine duties including cleaning equipment, securing supplies, and other tasks as required. Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care. Adheres to unit procedures wherever transport services rendered. Essential Functions: - Practicing Prepares patient for transport and performs passive and active identification to ensure all patients are properly identified before transporting. - Transports all patients and equipment to and from testing and procedure areas including inpatient, outpatient, emergency and high risk Intensive Care Unit (ICU). - Effectively communicates with medical employees to ensure all required medical supplies and medications are appropriately transported with the patient including the administering of oxygen when required. - Responsible for the timely discharge of patients throughout the hospital. - Under the direction of medical employees and/or R...
