Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES: · Design and release custom busbar assemblies and tap-off boxes for use in the data center industry · Generate 2D and 3D SolidWorks busbar application models based off requirements fed in from the project management team. · Load production systems with material requirements from approved drawings. · Assist Technical Engineers in preparing technical submittals for client review by providing accurate and high quality 2D drawings. · Collaborate with cross-functional production teams to execute trial runs of new designs (first of a kind) and assist with activities leading up to mass production release. · Ensure designs comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications at all times. · Provide technical documentation including Bills of Materials (BOMs), manufacturing instructions, and design reports. · Collaborate with the manufacturing team to resolve design issues during production and ensure smooth implementation of designs onto the shop floor. · Modify existing designs and create new engineered-to-order (ETO) solutions based on project requirements. · Participate in peer-review release process for models and drawings and provide fe...
