Processing Operator

Job description

Summary: The Processing Operator is responsible for the preparing and mixing of appropriate ingredients required to produce finished batches from calculation for bottling, canning, and premix/post-mix operations based upon number of cases scheduled for production each shift. Schedule: B Crew; 2-2-3, 12-hour rotation; 5am-530pm Job Responsibilities: - Ensure the safety and operation of all relevant machinery according to standardized operating procedures (SOPs). - Responsible for startup and shutdown of all relevant machinery. - Responsible for accurately weighing ingredients according to SKU specifications - Aid in development and improvement of standardized work documentation - Stage material and read and follow formulas for mixing batches - Run material per spec sheet and operating instructions and complete required quality checks, including laboratory tests - Monitor productivity to established quality and production levels are maintained - Complete ingredient documentation - Aid in sanitation operations and completing required sanitation documentation - Clearly communicate to neighboring departments on current and upcoming production status so downstream operators can effective...
