Description JOB SUMMARY: The Therapist position specializes in infant and early childhood mental health and trauma to help children & caregivers find pathways to heal from and prevent future occurrence of child abuse, neglect, out-of-home placement, domestic violence, and other traumatic experiences. This is accomplished by providing a trauma-responsive, hope-centered, relationship-focused, safe environment, meeting clients where they are at, processing emotional, developmental, relationship and behavioral challenges, collaborating closely and frequently with other child/family-serving organizations and utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide individual, family, and/or group counseling to infants, children and adult caregivers utilizing evidence-based, agency-approved therapeutic modalities from an infant/early childhood mental health and trauma-informed perspective. Services are primarily provided in-office and over telehealth.
