We currently have an opportunity for a Risk & Commercial Assurance Manager to join our Risk and Commercial team and play a key role in strengthening governance, managing risk, and providing assurance across our operations. Reporting to the Assurance Lead, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services. Location: Sydney or Brisbane: This role includes monthly travel across Australia and New Zealand to Downer sites. What You’ll Do: This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including: Partnering with leaders to deliver risk and commercial assurance activities that support sound decision‑making and strong governance. Leading assurance reviews and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement, uplift capability, and manage risk exposure. Supporting the development and implementation of risk, assurance, and commercial frameworks aligned to Downer’s objectives. Providing clear, practical insights and recommendations to stakeholders, balancing risk awareness with commercial outcomes.
