Overview The LMG Senior Medical Director provides leadership for assigned LMG Medical Directors. Working with administrative partners and the Clinical Vice Presidents, the Senior Medical Director is responsible for developing and executing strategy, planning the workforce, driving program growth and new program development, and engaging in collective bargaining with the union. Likewise, this role is accountable for overseeing all aspects of the responsibilities assigned to their Clinic/Specialty Medical Directors and for professional development and mentorship. The Senior Medical Director collaborates with the Clinic/Specialty Medical Directors and other Legacy Health leaders to ensure high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, financial sustainability and provider engagement. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Graduate from a four-year U.S. medical school or the equivalent. Residency completed and Board Certified in a relevant medical specialty. Preference will be given to applicants with certifications in Leadership, Quality Assurance, and/or Performance Improvement, and/or a Master of Business Administration and/or Master of Healthcare Administration, or other significant releva...
