The University is undergoing rapid growth toward its strategic goal of becoming a comprehensive, midsize, residential, undergraduate-graduate, research-intensive, health professions and science University of excellence. We are experiencing unprecedented support and investment, including a recent $50 million allocation from the state of California and a $ 7.7 million award from Bloomberg Philanthropies. Our ongoing expansion includes a new 100,000 sq. ft. building in the works for our 4-year medical degree program and the development of a new adjoining 13-acre campus expansion for residence halls and other facilities. CDU’s Los Angeles location offers access to big-city amenities, entertainment, and cultural events.
