Department: 11600 Advocate Christ Medical Center - Patient and Equipment Transport Status: Part time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 24 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Time: 11:00am-7:30pm Holiday Rotation (2) Memorial Day, Labor Day and Christmas Day Week One: Sun, Wed, Fri: Week Two: Mon, Thurs, Sat: Pay Range: $18.85 - $28.30 Major Responsibilities: Transporters are responsible for providing and maintaining a safe environment for themselves, the patient, and their co-workers by following established policies and procedures. 6)Receives/confirms Ticket to Ride document prior to transport. Includes care givers signature and phone number and in initialed/signed by transporter that picked up the patient at "home" location. 7)Attends department, hospital and Advocate educations and meetings. 8)Demonstrates knowledge of the cognitive and sensory needs and abilities of pediatric and geriatric patients as revealed through departmental competency assessment activities and applies this knowledge when giving instructions, explanations to these patients as revealed by direct observation and patient feedback. 9)Contact telemetry at time of move and completion. 5)Be able to co...
