Nemours Children's Health is seeking an Audiology Assistant (Part-Time) to join our team in Wilmington, Delaware. The audiology assistant's primary role is to aid the audiology department in providing essential patient care. They perform hearing screenings, minor troubleshooting, and repair of hearing technology. Additionally, audiology assistants provide key support services through ordering, stocking, check-in, organization, and other administrative duties at all assigned satellite locations. Essential Functions: Complete newborn hearing screenings (NBHS), document in patient’s electronic medical record, enter charges, report results using appropriate state database, meet with care team to share information. Assist the audiologists in the testing of infants, toddlers, preschool, and adolescent patients. Perform routine daily functions such as stocking supplies, equipment biologic checks/ troubleshooting and ensuring all patient care areas have the needed items for service.
