SUMMARY: The General Cleaner is responsible for performing routine custodial cleaning to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment. This role focuses on full-area cleaning of offices, common spaces, restrooms, and work areas after daily business operations have ended. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and kitchen areas. - Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum floors and surfaces. - Empty trash and recycling throughout the facility. - Wipe down desks, counters, tables, doors, and high-touch surfaces. - Restock restroom supplies. (soap, paper products, etc.) - Perform basic floor care tasks. - Clean glass, partitions, interior doors, and entrance areas. - Follow all safety procedures, chemical handling rules, and company cleaning standards. - Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisor. - Secure building doors and ensure areas are ready for the next business day. - Other duties as assigned.
