QualificationsQualifications: High School diploma or general education degree (GED) Prior experience in the food service industry required, with 1 to 3 years’ experience with meal preparation and nutrition. Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and kitchen operations. Current Food Handlers Certificate. Knowledge and understanding of public health, safety and proper food handling and sanitation standards and procedures. Leads the Senior Site team in the kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, serving appropriate portions to senior site participants.
